From Cherepovets across the Rybinsk reservoir, well over 100 km long and about 50 km wide, then shooting into the bend of the Volga – we head for Koprino, briefly against the current, to a tourist spot, well done, for an upper class of customers who seek and find wellness with spa, fine food and a bit of pomp. And in the middle of it all (much more important for me) a new marina, run today by Igor and Alexander, who skilfully welcome us and show us what is available here: a guest room with toilet, shower, kitchen and washing machine, as well as bikes and electric scooters, all included in the overnight price. The full programme, plus a petrol station suitable for boats! I am almost speechless! Finally, a marina (in Russia) worthy of the name.
