Thanks to low-cost airlines, my flight to Tallinn went via Dublin, as it happens… But I gratefully accepted this coincidence, as I had been rudely turned back (Corona) when I entered Dublin last summer, or rather I turned back on my own initiative so as not to have to go into quarantine again. Now I was able to explore this city without restrictions (that’s how quickly deadly viruses disappear), and enjoyed this side trip very much.
A few hours’ stay, a bus ride from the airport to the city centre, immersing myself in this crude Irish world (with also a lot of migration pressure, as is impressively shown in the pedestrian streets), strolling a bit, also listening to some missionaries for the respective ‘right’ religion, and without beer (because I really don’t like that, and to ask for a ‘panaché’ – a beer-lemon mixture – in Dublin, I don’t know…) back to the plane, perfect.
In Tallinn I am met by Martina at the airport – welcome back!
I feel richly blessed to find shelter with Martina again. A perfect start for the coming section. The sun is shining; it is cool but does it matter? – Cloudless sunshine in Tallinn must be enjoyed with every breath!
